Advanced CISM - Train the Trainer (2 days)
This course will examine the dynamics of a fully functioning CISM Team. Topics include: Developing a smooth format for debriefing debriefers, responding to multi-casualty incidents and mutual aid call outs, developing program(s) that reach out to the community and neighborhoods in the aftermath of a critical incident to provide debriefings and follow up interventions for the community, learning skills for self care as a team member, developing effective speaking and outreach tools for publicizing the CISM Team in your department, organization or community, and creating community ceremonies, such as the Light of Lights Memorial candle lighting for public safety and the public.
